Whether you’re a longtime churchgoer who’s busy on Sunday mornings, or you’ve just begun to wonder if church is for you – the 5:00 service offers easy-to-follow songs, sermon, and prayers. We’re a warm, inclusive, and active community of open-minded Christians, responding to Christ’s call through worship, fellowship, and ministries within and outside our church walls.

Since 1747 the Buck Mountain Parish has been an integral part of the Earlysville, Virginia community. Established as a frontier church during colonial times this parish has served continuously as a place of worship and spiritual home for over 260 years.

We are part of the Diocese of Virginia joining with other parishes in northern and central Virginia in being active members of the national church.

Buck Mountain offers hospitality to people of all ages including: nursery care for infants and toddlers; Sunday school for elementary-age children; youth group for teens; fellowship, education, and spiritual development programs for adults

Reaching out in love, we support our brothers and sisters from Albemarle and beyond through food ministries and pastoral care. We actively participate in community-wide ministries such as Habitat for Humanity, PACEM, and Alliance for Interfaith Ministries.
